Cloud BBQ Sauce

This BBQ sauce is from Harold Cloud through his sister Better Paff.  Harold is the son of Rhupert Cloud and had a BBQ restaurant in Alaska for years.  Here's the secret recipe.  I had some of the sauce on pork ribs when we were visiting Jack and Betty in Florida and it was delicious!


Ingredients

Five 44 oz. jars Heinz catsup

Two 3⅓ oz. bottles of Hickory Liquid Smoke

⅓ cup salt

⅔ quart Heinz White Vinegar

4 cups sugar

2 tablespoons black pepper

18 oz. French's Yellow Mustard

1¼ oz. granulated beef bullion


Instructions

Mix for 1½ hours or until right consistency. Makes 2 gallons. Harold had a commercial electric mixer and Betty's husband made one out of an electric drill.
